Name: Discord
Age: No real information given, but a few thousand years given his imprisonment term.
Canon: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
Canon Point: After S2E02: The Return of Harmony Part 2

Personality: Discord lives as the personification of disharmony and as such he lives the title right down to the last letter. With his powers as a reality warper, Discord can get overconfident with his abilities, hence his grand ego. He doesn’t see anyone as possibly beating him in anyway. In one instance he stood in front of his enemies with a target right on him, daring them to make their move.
But that doesn’t mean Discord doesn’t know how to needle someone in a certain direction, nor that he lacks a sense of showmanship. Sure he can change forms, but that doesn’t mean he’s below just manipulating someone by word alone. He has a certain gift of the tongue as he managed to convince Pinkie Pie she was unloved by her friends.
In addition to his egotism, Discord has a sociopathic sensibility. In a nearly childish way, Discord cannot see his actions having any negative consequences. Who he hurts is no problem because that’s what their concern. What matters is that he has time to play out his little chaotic games and everyone will play along regardless. Ultimately Discord is a child, an overgrown sociopathic child with reality warping powers. And like a child, he will go into a fit if someone doesn’t break or play along with his games. Even though he gripes about his players playing fair, doesn’t mean he would when frustrated enough.Despite his claims to chaos and fun, Discord wants everything to go his way and so Celestia help the pony who refuses to play along. Because whether or not they want to, they will play.
Abilities/Strengths: Discord can for all intents and purposes, warp reality. With a snap of his fingers he can make it rain chocolate and then make it explode. He can make nearly anything come into existence and banish it just as quickly. It’s all a part of his game of chaos and disharmony. Discord can also subtly change shape, there’ll be something that will give himself away—his dopey eyes, his snaggletooth, etc.
On top of that, Discord can deceive just as easily, manipulating people’s wants and fears to fit his disordered games.
Weaknesses: With all his strengths, Discord has very glaring flaws. Foremost Discord cannot comprehend any concept of ‘good’ or selflessness. Therefore he has a hard grasp seeing anyone with motives other than his own. As well as his blindness to friendship, Discord has a tendency to grow impatient and frustrated when things do not go as planned. If someone doesn’t play along with his games he becomes more hasty and sloppy in his planning. On top of this sundae of complexes there sits the cherry of hubris. Discord is absolutely convinced he cannot be beaten, a flaw that costs him another few thousand of freedom.

Story Character: The Fox
Plans: Discord will not appreciate his loss of tail or mangy fur when he firsts arrives to the island. But he’ll eventually learn to use it towards his advantage by generating sympathy with his bad condition as he will share the Fox’s urge to swindle innocent passersby.

Third Person: The spirit of chaos was trapped for the time being, a word that made the draconequus’ insides churn with disgust and frustration. Who were this Emperor and Empress, thinking they could throw him inside an island prison? He’s survived worse, he’s broken out of worse. Compared to petrification, breaking out of this prison should be a snap.
But somehow, he remained imprisoned, trapped alongside these other shabby persons. What a disgrace. The childish part of him fumed and railed against these rulers of this island. Play Celestia, will they? They’ll soon learn that tangoing with chaos will put them out of step. Oh yes, plans of vengeance churned inside his mind. He can wait, he did it for a thousand years…
So they wanted him to play along his role as the charlatan Fox from the story of the enchanted puppet, do they? Well he can play, just not in the manner they will ever be expecting. Oh yes, he has something for the other denizens of this little island. So they want fairy tales, do they? Well soon they may just as well regret bringing him into this story…
